---- — The St. John’s Prep hockey team saw its Super 8 quarterfinal contest against Central Catholic of Lawrence postponed last night due to snowy conditions.

The Eagles (17-3-1) will look to keep their season alive tonight in Game 2 of their best-of-3 series against Central. The game will be played at 7:45 p.m. at Stoneham Arena, following the Springfield Cathedral vs. Malden Catholic game there at 5:30 p.m.

Tomorrow, Danvers High looks to win its second-straight Division 3 North boys basketball title when it meets Wayland. The two teams will square off at the Tsongas Center in Lowell beginning at 3:45 p.m, with the winner moving on to Tuesday’s state semifinals at TD Garden in Boston.

Also tomorrow, Swampscott will play for its first-ever Division 3 North hockey championship when the Big Blue meet Bedford at the Stoneham Arena (4:30 p.m.). Coach Gino Faia’s team (17-5) has already set a school record for most victories in a single season.

Our fourth and final North Shore team still in the state playoffs, the Danvers High hockey team, will battle Wilmington for the Division 2 North championship Monday at the Chelmsford Forum in North Billerica.
