Danvers/HAMILTON-WENHAM 27, Salem 18: Wrestling up a weight class, Chris Davis (120 lbs.) scored a big win for Danvers/H-W (7-7) over Salem’s Thamid Raji to help his club score a victory in its first-ever home meet at Danvers High. Danvers/H-W had four other big victories as Jack Anderson (132), Chris Behen (138), Sam Anderson (152) and Colin Marie (160) all won by pin.

St. john’s Prep 54, Catholic Memorial 10: In improving to 3-0 in the Catholic Conference and 25-2 overall, the Eagles got victories from Lou Bornstein (113 lbs.), D.J. Lemieux (126), Fred Colberg (132), Jared Costa (138), James Smith (145), Peter Locke (160), Solomon White (170), Jim Messeder (182), Jon Polansky (195), Ian Butterbrodt (220) and Corey Jean-Jacques (285).

SWIMMING

Lynnfield 102, Masconomet 81: Colleen Soares (200 IM), Michael Bartley (100 free) and Alex Galaneau (100 butterfly) all had first place finishes for the Chieftains (4-3).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Pingree 50, Newton Country Day 28: Senior Katlyn Oliver led all scorers with 13 points as the Highlanders improved to 7-4 on the season. Junior guard Haley Sabino added nine points in the win while Gabby Muniz had seven.
