NST/Essex Aggie 3, Northeast 0: Dianna LeBlanc recorded 11 assists and six service points as the Bulldogs improve to 3-4 on the season after sweeping 25-12, 25-12, 25-12. Isabel Camacho added four blocks and 15 kills, while Courtney Remsen and Sabrina Napoli combined for 25 service points.
Masconomet 3, Saugus 0: Senior middle hitter Maddie Kelly led the way with 10 service points, three aces, five digs, seven kills and two blocks as the Chieftains (4-2) swept in straight sets 25-13, 25-11, 25-22. Junior setter Katherine McManus contributed with 25 assists.
Lynnfield 3, Hamilton-Wenham 0: The Generals (1-5) got key digs from sophomore Jessica Reardon, junior Katlyn McCarthy and senior libero Leah Walsh.
BB&N 3, Pingree 0: Junior captains Morgan Cusack (three aces, three kills) and Casey Torto (four aces) both had solid games for the Highlanders (2-1).
Shawsheen 3, NST/Essex Aggie 0: Carter Sheehan and Mark Mishel, both of which play at center mid, helped keep the Bulldogs (0-5) in the game for the majority of the time.
Salem Academy 5, MATCH 1: Ben Craven and John Mahoney each had two goals to lead the Navigators (2-2) to victory. Sam Benoit also had a goal in the win.
Central Catholic 2, Bishop Fenwick 0: Goalkeeper Merry Harrington played well for the Crusaders (3-2-1), which suffered their second straight loss. Jenny Nasser, Ellen Fantozzi, Mary DiFilippo and Emily Smith all stood out on the defensive end.
Salem Academy 7, MATCH 0: Laura Sawin netted three markers to help the Navigators improve to 3-0-1 on the season. Channelle Camah, Caitlin Clark, Sydney Mareno and Mae Rose Cheresnowski all chipped in with a goal, while Brianna Pinto and Katie Darmody combined for the shutout.
Hamilton-Wenham 1, Pentucket 1: Caroline Kerrigan scored 10 minutes into the second half to give the Generals (2-3-1) a 1-0 lead, before Pentucket tied the game. Freshman Mckenzie Plante stood out at center midfield.
Masconomet 4, Saugus 0: Tessa Ives scored her first ever varsity goal as the Chieftains continue their unbeaten streak at 6-0. Maddie Lafreniere, Belle Ives and Julianna Kostas each contributed with goal. Dana Balek (two assists) and Maddie Doyle also played well on the forward line, while Cat Hosman was outstanding on defense.
