---- — Joe Molica
A tough, physical two-way lineman, Molica is off to a solid start for the 1-1 Tanners. He’s been a big part of his team’s ability to run the football; the Tanners have rushed for 578 yards in two games, including three 100-yard individual efforts.
A rock in the center of Peabody’s offensive line, Rapoza has also helped Peabody dominate on the ground. He’s also worked well with quarterback Mike Raymond; he and the offensive line have only allowed their signal caller to be sacked once in two games.
Wlasuk is both an emotional and physical leader for the Tanners, having seen a lot of playing time over the past two years. Currently battling an injury, Wlasuk will be a huge boost to the Peabody lineup when he returns. He is an excellent defensive player at linebacker and is one of many running backs coach Mark Bettencourt will lean on this season.
James is a solid player in the defensive secondary for the Tanners. A good tackler in the open field, James brings speed and athleticism to the defense. He’s a strong leader who brings extra depth to Peabody.
Sierra is a strong leader who provides depth to both the offensive and defensive lines. His size and strength make him difficult to block on defense and tough to maneuver around on offense.
