THANKSGIVING DAY TICKETS
Tickets for the Salem vs. Beverly football game at Salem's Bertram Field on Thanksgiving will be available for purchase at the athletic offices of both Beverly and Salem High schools. Reserved seats will cost $10 dollars while general admission tickets will cost $5 dollars for students and $7 dollars for adults. All tickets will cost $10 dollars on Thanksgiving Day.
FOOTBALL
The 48th annual Swampscott-Marblehead "Old-Timers Night" will be held Monday at the Gerry 5 Club in Marblehead. A social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 and the evening's program at 8. Dr. Hugh O'Flynn, an orthopedic surgeon practicing on the North Shore, will be guest speaker. Guests have a choice of prime rib or baked haddock. Tickets are $30 each, and reservations are necessary. Ipswich High School's Stadium will be dedicated in honor of Jack Welch Thursday at halftime of the annual Thanksgiving Day football game against Hamilton-Wenham. The athletic department would like to invite the friends and family as well as all former players, coaches, colleagues and students of the long-time Ipswich High School teacher and coach to this dedication ceremony.
Masconomet Regional is celebrating its 50th year and will be honoring all Masconomet alumni at the Masconomet vs Malden Catholic football game on Nov. 13 at Masco. All football alumni are invited to the game, which begins at 7 p.m., and will be introduced at halftime. There will be a reception after the game for football alumni and friends of Masconomet football. The winner of the St. John's Prep-Xaverian Thanksgiving Day football game at St. John's (10:15) will receive the inaugural Brother William Drinan Trophy. The award is in honor of Brother Drinan, who served as headmaster at both schools. Also that day, the St. John's Prep state championship baseball teams from 1999 and 2000 will be honored. Fans and members of the two school communities can also take advantage of a pregame breakfast from 8 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at the Memorial Dining Hall. The cost for breakfast is $5.00. Game day tickets are $10 for adults and $5.00 for seniors and students. Tickets for the game can also be purchased in the lobby of Brother Benjamin Hall at the Prep on Nov.19 from 2:30-8:30 p.m. and Nov. 23-24 from 2:30-6 p.m.
FUNDRAISER
A Night for Ken St. Pierre will be held Dec. 4 at the Danversport Yacht Club, from 7 p.m. to midnight. The cost is $30 per person. There will be raffle tickets ($50) for prizes that range from $5,000 to $1,000. Tickets are available at the Danversport Yacht Club and raffle tickets can be purchased at the Cherry Street Fish Market, Oniontown Grill, Sunnyside Bowladrome and the Polish Club.
