The Gordon men's baseball team has played four games in Lake Myrtle, Florida and with yesterday's 14-10 loss to Washington (MD), it seems the Scots have some work to do on pitching and defense.
In the team's four games Gordon (1-3) is allowing a whopping 9.5 runs per game.
John Kanas pitched the first seven innings yesterday, giving up seven earned runs on nine hits and was charged with the loss. Relief pitchers Zack Bohling and Ben Davidson combined to give up five earned runs in just one-third of an inning.
Getting the job done at the plate for Gordon were Eric Wolak, Chris Moran, and Stephen Myhren, who all had two RBI.
Gordon wraps up its Lake Myrtle play today against Waynesburg.
