Named Eastern Mass and Northeastern Conference all-star teams ... Finished the season with six goals and 10 assists ... Started the season as goalie and recorded two shutouts for the Tanners before moving to the midfield ... Team captain ... Wants to either play soccer or run track in college ... Ranked in the top 10 percent of his class with a 3.61 GPA ... Honored with this year’s Coaches Award.

CARTER OCKO

St. John’s Prep, Senior

Defense

Catholic Conference Player of the Year ... EMass all-star ... Named to the All-State team and All-New England Team ... Finished with three goals and one assist ... Scored the game winning goal against Masconomet in the Division 1 North semifinals with four minutes to play in the game ... Holds a 3.95 GPA ... Plans on attending college in the fall, but is undecided at this time ... Guided the Prep to a Catholic Conference Championship with only one regular season loss.

BROOKS CLARK

St. John’s Prep, Senior

Center Midfield

Finished second on the team in scoring with 18 points on nine goals and nine assists ... Catholic Conference all-star and EMass all-star ... Named to the All-State team ... His best game came against conference rival B.C. High in which he had a goal and an assist ... Plans on doing a post-graduate career ... As one of three captains, led the Eagles all the way to Division 1 North final against Somerville.

BEN ALPERN

St. John’s Prep, Senior

Goalkeeper

Came up huge for the Eagles at the beginning of the season after starting captain Brian Keogh went down with a leg injury ... Alpern took over the position and n his 20 games played this year, he had 10 goals against (0.50 GAA) ... Named Catholic Conference all-star ... Plans on pursuing either soccer or lacrosse in college ... Holds a 3.86 GPA ... Recorded 12 shutouts for the Eagles (17-2-2).
