The deadline for all Salem High Athletics Hall of Fame nominations has been extended to Monday, Feb. 25. Applications can be found on the Salem High website and should be sent to the Athletics Office at Salem High School.


Marblehead Youth Baseball registration for the 2013 Winter Clinic and Spring Season is open. The Winter Clinic and Spring Season are open to boys and girls ages 7-15 as of April 30, 2013. Evaluations will be held March 23-24, with Opening Day scheduled for April 27. Registration for the 6-year-old Spring Clinic is open to boys and girls age 6 as of April 30, 2013. The Player Evaluations/Tryouts for Beverly Little League for this Sunday are still on. Player evaluations will take place at Beverly High School on February 24th and March 3rd. All players of league age 7-12 (excluding those on a major league roster) are required to attend both evaluation sessions so as to be placed at the appropriate playing level. The time slots are the same for both dates: Noon-1 p.m. (7 & 8 year olds), 1-2 p.m. (9 & 10 year olds) and 2:15-3:15 p.m. (11 & 12 year olds).


Swampscott High is hiring a varsity boys tennis coach and a varsity sailing coach for the spring season. Applicants should sent a resume and letter of interest to athletic director Jon Flanagan at 200 Essex St, Swampscott, MA, 01907 before July 25.
