Editor’s note: The following is an offbeat Q&A providing unique insight into the players lining up under center and calling signals on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons across the North Shore.

What is your favorite subject in school?: Chemistry

What is your favorite play to run during a game?: Either the 26 counter option or the 335 fade

Is there any special meaning behind your jersey number?: I wore No. 20 as a freshman, but that wasn’t really a quarterback number so I decided to mix it up this season.

What is your favorite TV show or movie?: ‘Friday Night Lights’ for TV and ‘Step Brothers’ or ‘The Other Guys’ for movies.

Who are your favorite college QBs to watch?: Oregon’s Marcus Mariota or Ohio State’s Braxton Miller

How do you think the Red Sox will do in the playoffs?: I predict they’ll lose in six game to the Dodgers in the World Series.

Do you have any pre-game superstitions or rituals?: Surprisingly, I don’t have any

What’s the best advice you’ve received before a game?: When in doubt, know Johnnie’s route (in reference to all-star wide receiver Johnnie Spears)

What’s your favorite sport to play besides football?: Basketball

What is the one college sporting event you’d love to be able to attend in person?: A college basketball Final Four national championship game

What’s the best book you’ve read?: ‘The Other Wes Moore’ by Wes Moore.

Whats your dream car?: A black Pagani Huayra

If you could throw to one receiver or tight end from the NFL in a game, who would you choose?: Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions, becasue he’s Megatron.
