---- — IPSWICH — Visiting Lynnfield scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to break open a close game and rolled to an eventual 35-0 win over the Ipswich Tigers last night at Jack Welch Stadium in a Cape Ann League Baker (Small) contest.
Jake Rourke had a 13-yard run in the first quarter and closed the scoring with a 9-yard TD scamper for the unbeaten Pioneers (now 7-0) in the third quarter. Dan Sullivan (21 yards) and Kyle McGah (11 yards) also had TD runs for the winners while Matt Kramich hauled in a 24-yard TD pass from quarterback Danny Sullivan.
Ipswich fell to 1-6 with the loss and is out of the state playoff picture. Their next three regular season games will be determined on Sunday against other non-playoff teams prior to their annual Thanksgiving Day game against Hamilton-Wenham on Nov. 28.
