The Endicott College volleyball team avenged one of its regular season losses and in the process advanced to the Commonwealth Coast Conference championship game by beating Salve Regina, 3-1, on the road last night.
The Gulls (22-14) won 25-22, 21-25, 25-14 and 25-23 to earn the right to travel to Roger Williams for the championship match on Saturday.
Callie Dolan delivered a match-high 15 kills for Endicott, which swung momentum with a big win in the third set and didn’t let the hosts recover in the back-and-forth fourth.
Lexi Watts (10 kills) and MacKenzie Guerre (13) also hit double-digit kills for the Endicott attack, and Tori McIntyre collected 14 digs with seven kills. Erika Trudon had a strong defensive game with 28 digs and setter Alleigh Vandemerkt picked up 41 assists.
