Nashoba 8, North Shore Tech/Essex Aggie 7: The Bulldogs surrendered the game-tying goal with only one second left in regulation, then lost early in overtime. Anthony Santo scored three times, Cam Smallidge had a pair of goals, and Max Sciola had one goal and one assist. Dan McCormick also scored for North Shore (1-1) and goalie Garrett Oman made 11 saves.
Marblehead 12, Manchester 11: Tyler Phillips and Meggie Collins each scored four goals as the Magicians (3-1) outlasted a late Hornets charge to win. Pam Gregory had two goals and two assists, Mily Freedland scored and had one assist and Cassie Rodgers had three draw controls and scooped up three ground balls.
Masconomet 17, Pentucket 8: Junior center Kathleen Gillespie exploded for seven goals and Amy Arnold added four for the Chieftains (2-1) in a rout. Meg Collins and Katherine Ripp both contributed two goals while Rachel Rogal and Becca Phillips had one each. Lili Miller earned the win with six saves in goal. Grace DiBenedetto and Abby Reblin both played well on defense in the victory as well.
Bishop Fenwick 19, Marian 4: Grace Celona scored six goals and handed out four assists and Anna Moulton pumped in six goals as the Crusaders improved to 3-2. Annette Ruggiero also scored four goals while Caroline Crawford, Mary Difilippo and Hannah Deltorchio had one goal apiece.
North Shore Tech/Essex Aggie 21, Greater Lowell 16: Grace McNally ripped off eight goals to power the Bulldogs to their first win. Madison Overholt (4 goals), Courtney Panaro (3), Lydia Lidone (3) and Meghan Doherty (2) also had big scoring games. Kiley Morgan stopped 12 shots in goal.
Swampscott 15, Winthrop 12: The Big Blue picked up their first win (1-1) behind six goals and one assist from Bridget Lawless. Lauren Sullivan added four goals and one assist and Mackenzie Robertson contributed a pair of goals. Catt Singley, Alexa Goldman and Chloe Dorgan each scored once, and goalie Katie Papele made nine saves.
