DiLisio six strokes off lead at AJGA

MARBLEHEAD — Steven DiLisio of Swampscott remains the top North Shore player after two rounds of play at the American Junior Golf Association (ASGA) Junior Championship, being held at Tedesco Country Club.

DiLisio, a St. John’s Prep golfer, shot a 5-over 75 yesterday to give him a two-day score of 146. That puts him six strokes off the lead heading into today’s final 18 holes. Conor Rodrigues of Kingston, Ontario, and Ian Kelsey of Deerfield, Ill., share the lead at even par 140.

Other locals in the field include Topsfield’s Charlie May (151), Owen Picariello of Marblehead (154), Paul Lei of Middleton (155), Justin Serowik of Marblehead (155) and Colin Natale of Danvers (156).

The final round of stroke play will be played back at Tedesco this morning beginning at 7:30 a.m.
