Beverly Little League will be holding registration and tryouts Sunday (Feb. 12th). All tryouts are at Beverly High School's Fieldhouse at the following times: 12:15-1:00 East 8 and 9 year olds; 1:15-2:00 West 8 and 9's; 2:15-3:15 East 10-12's; 3:30-4:30 West 10-12's. Age is as of April 30, 2012. All players in this age group that are not on a Major Division team must tryout.

Danvers Babe Ruth registration is now available on-line at http://www.sportssignup.com/Danvers-Babe-Ruth-Online-Registration.start for players and coaches for Prep Division (13's), Major Division (14-15) and Senior division (16-19). Registration closes on March 16 with play evaluations on March 31 and the draft April 4. The registration fee is $140 with a family maximum of $190; there is a $25 late fee for registrations completed after March 16.

North Reading's pre-season diagnostic hitting camp for ages 6-16 will be held in six sessions from February 28 through March 15. The camp is directed by North Reading's Frank Carey, the 2007 ABCA National High School Coach of the Year, and each session is limited to 20 students with three instructors, including Salem High coach Jim Tgettis. Danvers Girls Softball is accepting registrations for the 2012 season. The registration fee is $55 for T-ball, $90 for all other leagues with a family maximum of $180 if the registration is received prior to February 5, 2012. After that date, the fee will be $65 for T-ball and $100 for all other leagues with a family maximum of $200.
