Peabody 4, Revere 3: Matt McIsaac picked up the win in relief, while Pat Ruotolo got the save as the Tanners improve to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the NEC.
Cushing 6, Pingree 1: Robert VanTuyl was solid on the hill, allowing two earn runs and one hit overall as the Highlanders drop to 3-4. Erik Larsen, Nick Antenucci and Travis Jacques all had one hit and Ryan St. Pierre went 2-for-3 on the day.
Marblehead 11, Swampscott 6: The Magicians improved to 3-2 overall after a strong offensive day at the plate. Rachel McKay went 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored, Emily Messinger went 3-for-4 on the day, including a three-run homer and Olivia Vener went 3-for-5. Michaela LeBlanc picked up the win on the mound.
Masconomet 9, Pentucket 1: Rachel Shamon went the distance, allowing no earned runs and no walks for the win. Maddie Kelly hit a two-run homer, scored two runs, finished with two stolen bases and three RBI, Samantha Martin went 4-for-4, Emily Dow was 3-for-4 on the day with two RBI and a run scored, while Erin Campbell finished 2-for-3 with a triple, a stolen base and 2 RBI for the Chieftains (2-1).
Peabody 5, Revere 1: The Tanners won their fifth straight behind Shelbi Wilson’s 10 strikeout three-hitter. Holly Smith had a two run triple for unbeaten Peabody (5-0) and Shannon Pires also had a hit.
Danvers 7, Gloucester 0: Kendall Meehan struck out 10 in a 1-hitter as the Falcons remained undefeated at 5-0. Tori Costa led the offense with a 3-for-4 effort while Chrissy Gikas went 3-for-4, scored and stole two bases and freshman Hannah Llewellyn was also 3-for-4.
St. Mary’s 8, Bishop Fenwick 2: Sophomore right fielder Jenny Nasser went 1-for-3 on the day with a run scored, while Chandler Wilder went 2-for-2 with two RBI in last night’s leauge loss. Natalie Moore moved to 3-5 on the season and allowed four earned runs.
