The North Shore Basketball School will be held June 30-July 3 for boys and girls entering grades 4 through 9. The Sunday, June 30 session will be held from noon to 5 p.m. while the other three days will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Danvers High School Fieldhouse.
Cost of the camp is $150 and it will include drills, competitions, and two games a day with a focus on fundamentals. Campers will receive T-shirts and individual and team awards will be given out. The ninth annual North Shore Basketball clinic will be held July 29-Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 pm. at the Higgins Middle School in Peabody. Former St. John’s Prep varsity basketball coach Sean Connolly and his former assistant and recently-named successor John Dullea will conduct the clinic, which will focus on the offensive and defensive fundamentals of the game for players age 8-16. Certified water polo coach Kim Lord will coach a water polo clinic in Pingree School’s outdoor pool from June 22-26 from 5-6:30 p.m. One evening she will take the group into Boston to view a college team or perhaps play in a collegiate pool.
