The annual Beverly Hockey Alumni Golf Tournament will be held Monday, July 8 at Wenham Country Club. Cost of the outing is $125 per golfer or $500 for a foursome. There is a Hole-In-One prize where a car will be awarded if someone can ace a shot on the designated hole; there will also be other prizes, raffles and food following golf at Wenham CC. COACHING VACANCIES

Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School is seeking a fall cheerleading coach for the upcoming, 2013 season. Interested candidates are asked to email athletic director Craig Genualdo a cover letter and resume at c.genualdo@hwschools.net. This is a part-time, stipend position that begins in August and ends the first week in December.

Danvers High School is looking to fill the following positions: full school year athletic trainer; head gymnastics coach; JV girls basketball coach; varsity volleyball coach; JV volleyball coach; freshman girls soccer coach; JV golf coach; and JV and freshman field hockey coaches. The Next Level North Shore Lacrosse Clinic will take place July 22-25 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Higgins Middle School in Peabody for boys ages 8-16. The clinic director is Bryan Molk. The Wicked Running Club of Salem is excited to announce the Third Annual Miles Over the Moon 4 mile road race, Friday, July 12, 8pm. A portion of the proceeds each year help fund local track programs at public schools. This year’s beneficiary will be Lynn English High School. Previous recipients were Salem and Beverly High Schools.
