The North Shore Navigators continued their impressive start to the season with another come from behind win, taking down the Torrington Titans by the final score of 9-8 at Fraser Field yesterday.
Lynnfield’s Alex Markakis led the Navs (4-0) offensively going 2-for-3 with three RBI, including the game-winning run off single. Justin Davis picked up the victory in relief, while Brandon Walsh earned the save.
In Saturday’s road win, the Navs topped the Marthas Vineyard Sharks 9-3 as pitcher Davis picked up the win, allowing just two hits on no runs. Eddie Reese went 1-for-5, including a homer in the seventh inning. Boston’s Calvin Graves had two hits in the win and drove in a run.

Beverly recs take two out of three: In Saturday’s 1-0 over Newburyport, Alex Teal threw a complete game shutout giving up two hits and walking one, while striking out nine for the Recs (6-3-1). Beverly’s run was scored by Harry Brown, while Chris Cocci and Alex Toomey also had hits.
In their second game on Saturday’s the Recs took down Kingston, 3-2. Lucas Ilges went the distance giving up two unearned runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out six. But Kingston got its revenge yesterday, topping the Recs 3-1. Dan Mello and Alex Webb had two hits a piece for Beverly.
