Marblehead 5, Danvers 0: Kelly Mealey (3-6, 7-5, 6-4) won a tough first singles match for Marblehead (3-1) while Julia Channing (6-0, 6-0) and Lily Frontero (6-0, 6-0) cruised through second and third singles respectively. First doubles team Amanda Gilberg/Meagan Hanratty (6-0, 6-0) and second doubles team Alice Yufa/Hannah Cohen (6-1, 6-1) dominated for the Magicians.
Hamilton-Wenham 4, Newburyport 1: Caroline Gribbell (6-1, 6-0), Mae Viccica (6-1, 6-1) and Jessie Goldberg (6-1, 6-1) all won in singles for the Generals, while Bethany Evans and Amanda Nekorowski (6-0, 6-1) also prevailed.
Peabody 103, Beverly 19: The Tanners (2-0) remained perfect on the spring in a late meet Wednesday. Event winners for Peabody included Christian Cedullo (low hurdles, 59.6), Riley Dowd (mile, 4:55), J.R. Rodriguez (high hurdles, 18.0), Owen Brewster (400, 56.2), Drew Fossa (800, 2:13), Moisse Irizzira (high jump, 5-foot-8), Kevin Guzman (triple jump, 38-8), Anthony Christo (shot, 48-2) and Marcus Viera (discus, 123-6).
Ipswich 104, Lynnfield 38: Ipswich (4-1) had double-winners in Matt Jaeger (long jump and triple jump), Josh Brown (shot put and javelin) and David Dick (pole vault and 400). Anthony Marini won the 400 hurdles for the Tigers, Tim Le topped the discus, Ryan White was first in the high jump, Michael Riddle took home the two mile, Zach Eliopoulos won the 800 and Ryan Bahar captured the 110 hurdles.
Masco 91, Newburyport 54: Tristan Cluster was a triple winner for the undefeated Chieftains (6-0) grabbing first in the 400 hurdles, triple jump and the 400. Regan Charie topped the 100 and the 200 for Masco while David Drigo took first in the javelin and the shot put.
Masco 104, Newburyport 41: Taylor Teed won the long jump, triple jump, 200 and ran a leg in the winning 4X100 relay team for Masco (5-1) while Lizzie Dew took first in the discus and shot put.
Ipswich 119, Lynnfield 17: Jill Calvani topped the 400 hurdles, long jump and triple jump for Ipswich (1-3-1), Emily DeMarco won the mile and the 800, Nora McMorrow earned first in the pole vault and two 200 and Devin Smith topped the high jump and 400. Other winners for the Tigers were Carina Frontiero (shot put), Lauren Gallant (discus), Marissa Cain (javelin) Annie Zampitella (two mile), Katie Monahan (hurdles) and Michaela Heddermen (100).
Danvers 70, Gloucester 60: Erin St. Pierre won the 400 hurdles, high hurdles and high jump to help Danvers improve to 2-1 on the year. Angela Caldarone won the long jump and triple jump (state qualifying time), Christina Parr took the shot and Catalina Dominick won the javelin.
