AMY ARNOLD

Attack

For the past few years, Amy Arnold has been a star for the Masconomet girls lacrosse team. Somehow, she managed to do it in a quiet way, never drastically outplaying or overshadowing other great players from the area.

As a senior, however, it was hard to overlook what Arnold meant to the Chieftains.

She was second in ground balls (51), pass blocks (15), draw controls (54), and caused turnovers (15).

Her outstanding on-field performance led to being named a United State Lacrosse All-American. In addition, Arnold was named the Cape Ann League Division 1 Player of the Year and was also selected as an Eastern Mass. Girls Lacrosse Coaches’ Association All-Star.

As Masco’s senior captain Arnold had some huge games this season, but none bigger than her seven-goal explosion in a 14-5 victory over Acton-Boxborough in the Division 2 North quarterfinals.

Arnold was recruited to play at the University of Florida, where she’ll spend the next four years.
