Peabody tops Big Blue, stays unbeaten



NST/EA 3, Greater Lowell 0: The setting of Kiley Morgan and hitting of Grace McNally propelled NST/EA to win in straight games (25-20, 25-13, 27-25) to bump its record to 6-1.


Peabody 49.5, LE 22.5: Chris Ciampa, James Greaves and Steve Goggin won their matches as Peabody saw its record increase to 4-3.

Beverly 51.5, Salem 20.5: Beverly’s (9-1-1) Kevin Dyer and Salem’s Tim Richmond, two of the top Northeastern Conference golfers, halved their match 4.5-4.5 as the Panthers took the seven other matches to move to 7-0 in the NEC.

SJP 232, Concord Carlisle 238: SJP (5-2) was led by junior Max Burt, who shot an even par 36, while freshman Steven Dilisio and Brandon Bingel also played well.

Danvers 46.5, Gloucester 25.5: Dan McKenna, Trent King, Mike Plansky, Kevin Anderson, Christian McKenna and Zach Tarricone all won for Danvers (6-3, 5-2 NEC).

Rockport 122, H-W 107: Spencer Bergholtz had 27 points for H-W (0-7) and Brian Nicoll chipped in 21 points.


Babson 1, Endicott 0: Sophomore Katie Donnelly made four saves for Endicott (4-4-1), but Babson’s goal in the 50th minute proved to be the game-winner.


Endicott 3, Eastern Nazarene 0: Lexi Watts had 12 kills, three aces, and three digs to lead Endicott (5-9) to the win. Jackie Cone added five kills for the Gulls.


Endicott 9, Wentworth 0: The Gulls won their seventh straight match by sweeping through the lineup. Chrissy Martel and Natalie Egbert won at No. 1 doubles, 8-1, while the doubles teams of Amy Heacox/Brittany Potter (8-2) and Suzie Newman/Savannah Deady (8-3) also prevailed. Emilie Cloutier, Martel, Egbert, Gina Pinciaro, Annie Gluskin, and Sarah Hill each produced singles wins.
