Champions 10, Lynn Brickyard 1: John Guilmet struck out five while pitching the last three innings while also banging out four hits, including a double and three RBI, as Champions (9-3) rolled to victory.
Mike Gallo went four innings on the hill for the win, striking out five of his own. Mark Shorey finished with four hits, including a double, a run scored and a pair of ribbies, while Jon Blodgett scored three times.
Champions is on the road tomorrow in Amesbury (6 p.m.) against the Newburyport Nationals before returning home Thursday night to the Twi-Field in Danvers (7:45 p.m.) to face the Beverly Recs.

navigators lose two: After being blanked at home by the Brockton Rox yesterday, 9-0, the North Shore Navigators have dropped four straight games after losing a pair this weekend. The Navs now stand at 11-11 on the season.
Jake Brandenberger was tagged with the loss after throwing 5 1/3 innings against Brockton. Calvin Graves, Devin Carter, Robin Cashel and Joe Love had hits for the hosts.
In a 9-2 loss to the Martha’s Vineyard sharks on Saturday, Tim Hendricks had a pair of hits and Carter knocked in two runs. Derek Dubois took his first loss of the season, allowing five runs and four walks with three K’s over five innings.
