---- — The Fundraiser for Rachael Mackey will go on as planned on Monday night at the Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill in Woburn. Unfortunately, after a two year battle with a brain tumor Mackey passed away last week at the age of 28.

"Rachael was one of the most courageous people I have ever met in my life," said event organizer Sean Stellato, an NFL player representative. "Monday's event will go on, and we will celebrate her life with her family, friends, and Patriot fans."

The sports auction event is hosted by NE Patriot players cornerback Kyle Arrington and defensive tackle Kyle Love to benefit the Ream Team Foundation for brain tumor research. General admission tickets are $25, which includes hors d'oeuvres, a raffle ticket, and the live auction (6:30 p.m. until 8:30). VIP tickets are $75 and also includes a meet-and-greet session with the Patriot players, photos, and autographs in a private area from 5:30 until 6:15 p.m.

Mackey was a 2002 Danvers High and 2006 Bryant University graduate. There is a scholarship fund in her name which will be awarded yearly at Danvers High to a student with the zest for life, determination, and positive outlook that Mackey had.
