Beverly football team commemorates undefeated season with Super Bowl rings

“Coach kind of sat there and let the captains do their thing,” added Babcock. “We basically had most of the say on the rings, except for some things that had to do with pricing. It was awesome and hopefully they came out as good as we wanted them to be.

“It’s an amazing feeling to be able to wear two rings. Some high school players never get a chance to have one ring and we have two— it’s an honor. You’d like to think that winning a super bowl is a possibility with the team that you had. We had so much faith in ourselves, which carried throughout the season and we knew that on any given day we could go out and get a win. We never expected this, though.”
