Beverly, Medford police to play benefit game

The Beverly Police Department will meet their law enforcement brothers from the Medford Police Department in a charity hockey game on Saturday, June 1, at the McVann-O’Keefe Rink in Peabody.

The game is being held to raise funds for the Krystle M. Campbell Scholarship Fund, named in memory of one of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings last month.

The game will take place from 6-8 p.m., followed by a 21-plus benefit at The Spotlight Tavern on 208 Rantoul Street in Beverly. Live entertainment, prizes and raffles will be held at the benefit.

Tickets for the game and entrance to the benefit are $20 each and may be purchased by calling Jason Lantych, Billy Barror or Mike Boccuzzi at the Beverly Police Department (978-922-1212), as well as Kevin Faller or David Rooney from the Medford Police Department (781-391-6767).
