Masconomet 2, Triton 0: Maddie Lefreniere’s first half goal assisted by Belle Ives stood up as Masconomet’s defense didn’t allow a corner or shot on goal the entire game. Maddie Doyle added another goal assisted by Julianna Kostas and Tessa Ives and Megan Letvinchuk played well in front of goalie Kylie Currier.
Ipswich 5, Georgetown 0: The Tigers scored four times in the second to pull away from the Royals. Meghan Lindahl had two goals and one assist to lead the offense while Caroyln Lynch had a goal and an assist and Julua Meedzan and Maddi Hill also scored. Nicole Stone notched one assist for Ipswich.
Hamilton-Wenham 3, North reading 0: Eliza Webber, Rachel Holappa and Sophia Zizza each had a goal in the Generals’ victory. Goalie Maddie Werner made six saves as H-W prepares for Newburyport on Friday.
Bishop Fenwick 6, Haverhill 1: Erin Clancey scored three goals for the Crusaders, which remain undefeated at 3-0 this season. Erinn Johnson put in a pair of scores, while Brianna Trodella added a goal.
Central Catholic 232, St. John’s Prep 235: The Eagles (1-1) fell by three strokes on the road in Atkinson, New Hampshire. Sophomore James Turner was the low-shooter for St. John’s with a 1-over round of 37.
Peabody 48 1/2, Lynn Classical 23 1/2: The Tanners improved to 2-1 behind wins from all eight of their players, Nolan Franey, Matt Correale, Steve Ferrante, Patrick McCarthy, Ted Izzo, Steve Goggin, Chris Ciampa and Zach Bille.
Winthrop 37, Marblehead 35: The Magicians dropped their first match of the season in a very close match. Marblehead is now 2-1.
Bishop Fenwick 3, Arch. Williams 0: Tessa McLaughlin had a double-double with 26 assists and 11 digs as the Crusaders (2-1) won at home, 25-6, 25-13, 25-23. Captain Kate Lipka had 14 kills and five blocks, Gianna Pizzano added eight kills and 13 digs and Jen Crovo chipped in seven kills and 12 digs.
