ROAD RACE
The second annual EBSB Challenge Road Race in Peabody will be held on Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. The race, sponsored by East Boston Savings Bank, will start and end at EBSB headquarters located at 67 Prospect Street (North Shore Mall). Extra Innings in Middleton will begin its inaugural Winter Hitting League in November. It is a six week season open to ages 7-15. Individuals and teams can register to play in one of three age divisions, 9U (games on Mondays), 12U (games on Tuesdays) and 15U (games on Wednesdays). RUNNING
The Wild Turkey Race tune up clinic with instructor and certified USATF coach Mike Toomey will be held Thursdays, from Oct. 29 through Nov. 26 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Salem Common. Brenda's Bosom Buddies will be hosting a 5K road race on Sunday, Nov. 9, beginning at Champions Pub on Foster St. in Peabody. There will be a $20 entry fee due by Oct. 31 to help pay for Brenda Forsythe's medical bills. Post entry fees will be $22.
