Four local players received high honors in the Northeastern Conference South Division when the conference all-star teams were announced yesterday.

Marblehead's Hayes Richardson and Swampscott's Matt Barbuzzi shared the Offensive Player of the Year Award, while Beverly's Nick Kozlowski and Danvers' John McInnis split the Defensive Player of the Year.

Heading into today's Thanksgiving Day game against Swampscott, Richardson has completed 82-of-177 passes for 1,293 yards and 13 touchdowns, while rushing for an additional 414 yards and 15 TDs.

Barbuzzi, meanwhile, has converted 156-of-237 pass attempts for 2,138 yards and 22 touchdowns. He has also run for 216 yards and three scores.

McInnis and Kozlowski are each senior linebackers who were catalysts for two of the league's top defenses.
