BASEBALL

Mike Giardi and the Hit Zone will be holding a 3-day hitting clinic tomorrow through Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hit Zone on 171 Essex Street in Swampscott. Applications and specific information may be obtained at the Hit Zone, online at www.the-hit-zone.com or via phone at 781-592-4487.

LACROSSE

Beverly Youth Lacrosse will be holding a free clinic for grades K-8 Sunday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Beverly High fieldhouse. Due to construction, enter through Patten wing at the rear of the building. Equipment will be provided along with introductory instruction and activities for beginners. New players can also register for the upcoming youth lacrosse season which will cost $50 for the entire season. Peabody Boys Youth Lacrosse is accepting registration forms for the 2010 spring season for players in grades 5-8.There is a limited space available for each team and they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
