CITYWIDE SIGNUPS
The Peabody Rec Department will host a citywide youth sports signup on Saturday, February 4 from 9 a.m.-noon at Higgins Middle School in the cafeteria. Most Peabody youth sports organizations will be on hand to answer questions and take registrations
TENNIS
Endicott tennis coach Lauren Mackay and the Gulls' men's and women's teams will host a preseason clinci at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly. There are four sessions held Feburary 19 (1- 3 p.m. for children ages 5-10 and 3-5 p.m. for children over 10), February 20 (3-4:30 p.m. for children ages 5-10 and 4:30-6 p.m. for children over 10), February 24 (3-4:30 p.m. for children ages 5-10 and 4:30-6 p.m. for children over 10) and February 25 (1- 3 p.m. for children ages 5-10 and 3-5 p.m. for children over 10). HALLS OF FAME
Tickets for the Beverly High School Sports Hall of Fame ceremony, which takes place March 24 at Danversport Yacht Club, are now on sale. They can be purchased at Todd's Sporting Goods, 393 Cabot Street, Beverly or by mailing Dave Jellerson at 19 Herrick Street, Beverly, MA 01915. Tickets are $45, with a service charge of $5 when paid with credit card. The deadline to buy is March 17. Include a self-addressed envelope. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Salem School Committee seeks new members for the Salem High School Hall of Fame Committee. The committee will be established by the School Committee but thereafter will function independently. We seek a diverse representation of the Salem community and of individuals who have been involved in Salem High School athletic programs prior to 2005.
