Tuesday's area roundup: Pingree boys basketball picks up first win

BOYS BASKETBALL

Pingree 61, Landmark 26: The Highlanders earned their first win of the season after captain Connor Reardon recorded a game-high 13 points. Sophomore Justin Assad added 11 points, junior Erik Fyrer finished with eight points and 10 rebounds, while senior Johnnie Spears had 13 steals in the victory.

Head coach Steve Gibbs noted that 10 different players made contributions in the balanced effort.

WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL

Emmanuel 63, Endicott 52: Samantha Crough was the lone starter to hit double-figures, dropping in a team-high 17 points to go along with six rebounds as the Gulls move to 5-2 on the season. Kayleen Whall finished with 16 points bench, while Kelsey Cuddy added 10 rebounds and eight points.
