Midfield

Carries a strong, accurate shot and was a threat to score from anywhere on the pitch ... Totaled 22 goals to lead Marblehead to a state tournament berth ... Notched the game-winning goal in an upset win over Beverly ... Magicians Offensive Player of the Year was an All-NEC and Division 2 Eastern Mass. all-star ... Carries 4.0 GPA ... Also plays point guard for MHS basketball team ... Hopes to continue her career in college.

 

ALIX BRYANT

Salem Senior

Defense

Four-year standout on defense was a three-time Northeastern Conference all-star ... Provided strong leadership to help the Witches return to the state tournament ... Consistently marked opposing team’s top striker ... Excellent at winning loose balls and getting them going the other way ... Second team All-Eastern Mass. selection in Division 2 ... Committed to play at Division 1 Hartford University next year.

Midfield

Recovered from an offseason knee injury to become one of the most productive middies in the NEC ... Dished out 19 assists, including one on the winning goal to beat Peabody for a share of the conference title ... Added five goals for 24 points ... NEC All-Conference pick played goalie a year ago and made seamless transition to midfield this fall ... Tough competitor with relentless drive was also a BHS captain ... Considering several colleges including UNH, Merrimack and Franklin Pierce.

Defender

Three-year starter was the heart and soul of Beverly’s first Northeastern Conference championship team in 15 years, said coach Kristin Simpson ... Conference all-star was relentless defending in the box, helping the Panthers earn 10 shutouts ... Also notched her first varsity goal ... Honors student ranks 6th in Beverly’s senior class ... Earned Beverly’s Coaches Award ... Two-year team captain ... Grateful to dad for support and pushing her to be her best.
