Beverly 49, Salem 37: Zach Bauer (2-mile, 11:12), Campbell Wood (mile, 4:59) and Brian McPherson (1000, 2:52) won the distance events to help the Panthers (5-1) pull away from the rival Witches (3-2). Jerry Canada (high jump), Riley Grondin (shot put), Aaron Palmer (hurdles) and Timmy Ryan (dash) won events for Salem.

WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL

Endicott 67, Wentworth 44: The Gulls (13-4) jumped ahead by 17 in the first half and held on to hike their Commonwealth Coast Conference record to 8-2. Samantha Crough had 14 of her 16 points in the opening half to pace Endicott while Kayleen Whall totaled 11 points and Kelsey Cuddy chipped in with nine.
