A Comedy Night to benefit the 'At Bat for Buddy' Fondation and Scholarship Fund will be held Saturday, April 28 at the Vittori Rocci Post on Brimbal Avenue in Beverly. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the first comic set to begin at 8 p.m. Cost of the night is $25, which includes light refreshments. There will be a Zumbathon to benefit ALS at the Italian Community Center on March 25 from 4-6 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. There will be more than 10 instructors, a great workout and raffles. For more information, Cheryl Cabral at cherryl@hotmail.com.
HOCKEY
Agawam Youth Hockey will hold tryouts at Pingree School on March 28 for squirts (5:40-6:40 for players born in 2002 or 2003) and Pee Wees (6:50-7:50 for players born in 2000 or 2001) and on March 30 for Mites (4:30-5:30 for players born 2004 and below) and bantams (5:40-6:40 for players both 1998 or 1999).
