Northeastern Conference swimming all-stars announced

Marblehead High School swimming superstars Harrison Rodts and Tyler Phillips, who helped lead the Magicians to another league championship this winter, were named the Male and Female Swimmers of the Year, respectively, as the Northeastern Conference announced its annual swimming all-star team and awards winners.

Veteran Danvers High coach Barbara Damon was voted the NEC’s Swim Coach of the Year, while Lynn Classical was awarded the Team Sportsmanship Award.

The conference all-stars by school were as follows:

MARBLEHEAD: Harrison Rodts, Charlie Seltzer, Jake Driscoll, Zack Michaels, Ryan Alexander, Sara Daher, Hannah Verrette, Kylie Cronin, Tyler Phillips.

BEVERLY: Sarah Welch, Emily Walsh, Caitlin Donoghue, Rachel Grant, Astrid Swensen, Nick Groblewski, Sam Aldrich.

DANVERS: Tom Giannino, Tori Ganley, Chris Demirdogen, Josh Mentzer.

SALEM: Julie Nguyen, Kevin Clyne, Melissa Trainor, Reshelle Venico, Hannah Walke, Joni Begi.

PEABODY: Alex Guay, Cameron Hart, Paige Hayward, Corey Pierce, Christine Shea, Pat Jwanowski, Meghan Lurvey, Zack Melville, Nina Pappacostas, Alex Strakosha, Maria Strakosha.

SWAMPSCOTT: Mark Kamen, Erin Cassidy, Cymantha Rogers, Danielle Mayblyum, Emily Guo.
