The 3rd Annual Beverly Youth Hockey Comedy Night Fundraiser will be on Saturday night, March 2, 2013 at the Italian Community Center. It will feature comedians, Frank Santorelli and Paul Gilligan, with music provided by “It’s All About the Music”, (Kevin Wood). The will be many great raffle items and lite fare provided. Tickets are $25.00 per person in advance, $30.00 at the door.


Danvers Girls Softball is currently accepting registrations for the 2013 season. The registration fee is $55 for T-ball, $90 for all other leagues with a family maximum of $180 if the registration is received prior to February 5, 2013. After that date, the fee will be $65 for T-ball and $100 for all other leagues with a family maximum of $200. Registration for the 2013 Beverly/Salem Babe Ruth baseball season is now available for any players age 13-15 from Beverly & Salem. There are three ways to register: On-line at, Mail-in by downloading a registration form at same website or Walk-in at Todd’s Sporting Goods 393 Cabot St Beverly. Registration forms are also available at the Salem Rec Dept. which can be mailed in. Email with any questions.


Boxford baseball registration for all boys and girls ages 5 to 12 for the spring 2013 season has begun. Registration will remain open until April 1, 2013, however a late fee will be imposed after March 1. For more information, visit


North Shore United is holding its annual February Vacation Clinic, which runs from Monday, February 15-Friday February 18th. Sign-ups are available for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days and half days are also an option. The NSU coaching staff will teach your player skills on topics such as shooting, footskills, passing, defending and more. Visit the NSU website at for registration and more information.


Tickets for the Beverly High School Sports Hall of Fame ceremony, which takes place on March 16 at Danversport Yacht Club, are now on sale. They can be purchased at Todd’s Sporting Goods, 393 Cabot Street, Beverly, or by mailing Dave Jellerson at 19 Herrick St., Beverly, MA 01915. Tickets are $45, with a service charge of $5 when paid with a credit card. The deadline to buy is March 9. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Ipswich High School is currently seeking applicants for a varsity girls’ lacrosse coach and a head spring track coach.
