Danvers Babe Ruth Registration for 13-15 year old players closes on March 16th. Registration for 16-18 year old players closes on April 19th. Please go to to register. For more information pleease contact or call Keith at 978-766-1274.


Registration for the 2013 Beverly/Salem Babe Ruth baseball season is now available for any players age 13-15 from Beverly & Salem. There are three ways to register: Online at, Mail-in by downloading a registration form at same website or Walk-in at Todd’s Sporting Goods 393 Cabot St Beverly. Registration forms are also available at the Salem Rec Dept. which can be mailed in. Email with any questions.


Boxford baseball registration for all boys and girls ages 5 to 12 for the spring 2013 season has begun. Registration will remain open until April 1, 2013, however a late fee will be imposed after March 1. For more information, visit


The Beverly Little League will be holding registration for fall ball on Sunday at the Beverly High Field House from 12:30-3. Registration is for any new or returning players.


The Salem Little League will hold its final registration on Sunday at the Salem High Field House from noon-1 p.m. Registration is for any new or returning players. New players must be at least 4 years of age by April 30 and will need to bring a birth certificate and proof of residency.


Tickets for the Beverly High School Sports Hall of Fame ceremony, which takes place on March 16 at Danversport Yacht Club, are now on sale. They can be purchased at Todd’s Sporting Goods, 393 Cabot Street, Beverly, or by mailing Dave Jellerson at 19 Herrick St., Beverly, MA 01915. Tickets are $45, with a service charge of $5 when paid with a credit card. The deadline to buy is March 9. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope. No tickets will be sold at the door.


The Ipswich High School Athletic Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for the Hall of Fame Class 2013. Nominations forms can be found in the High School Athletic Office, The Ipswich Town Hall or downloaded from the Hall of Fame website, which can be found on the High School Athletic website. You can also contact Hall of Fame President, Doug Woodworth at 978-356-9359. Nominations should include as much information possible to help support your nomination. Deadline is March 31st.
