LITTLE LEAGUE FALL BALL

The final sign-ups for Salem Little League fall ball will be held tonight and tomorrow at Forest River Park, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This will be the last chance to guarantee a spot for the fall season. The program will run for six weeks starting on Sept. 7. The cost is $40. This is for ages 9-12 before April 31, 2011.

WEB RADIO FOOTBALL

The MSO (moorestuffonline.com) web casts of high school football on the North Shore will begin the weekend of Sept. 9. The opening game of the season will pit Swampscott at Gloucester on Friday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. The following day, Sept. 11, MSO will do the Concord-Carlisle at Beverly game at 1 p.m.

BASEBALL

The Hit Zone in Swampscott has announced that fall baseball for players ages 8-18 will be held beginning on Sept. 11. The games will be played on weekend for six weeks. For more specific information, call 781-592-4487 or go online at www.the-hit-zone.com

GOLF

A few slots remain for the Neighborhood Legal Services' second annual tournament at Andover Country Club on Monday, Sept. 13. Shotgun scramble start at 1:30 p.m. Registration is $225. Neighborhood Legal Services provides free civil legal services for low income and elderly clients in Essex and Northern Middlesex counties. All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to client services.
