Displayed textbook downfield blocking in Friday night’s upset win over Beverly when, rolling out in hopes of sealing off a lane, he crunched a Panther defender, freeing up teammate Alex Valles to take off down the left sideline untouched for a 95-yard touchdown run.
JACK LAMBERT, St. John’s Prep
With his team trailing Brockton by two points in the second half, the sophomore hit Boxers quarterback Patrick Burke, causing him to fumble; St. John’s recovered the football deep in enemy territory and scored to take the lead. Lambert also blasted Burke later in the game and caused another fumble, with the Prep scoring three plays later.
CONNOR McADAMS, Ipswich
