Marblehead 2, Salem 0: Hannah Fobert scored both goals for the Magicians, who qualified for the tournament in the win. Maggie Danforth and Madison Shea were credited with the assists, while Eliza Fitzgerald, Suzanne McCarthy and Molly Ackerman had solid games.
Marblehead 174, Austin Prep 143: Pitch Riley led the way for the Magicians by shooting a 36. Teammates Jake Hempel and Jake Kramer were right behind Riley with 39s. Marblehead hiked its record to 10-5.
Hamilton-Wenham 117, Ipswich 110: Scott Hughes had 31 points, Cole Farnham added 20 and Tom Riccio also had 20 for Hamilton-Wenham (5-9).
Swampscott splits: The Big Blue split in yesterday’s tri-match, topping Salem (45 1/2-22 1/2) before falling to Saugus (25-47). Peter Wright, Anthony Springthorp, Noah Maercklein, E.J. Polesky and Corey Bleau were all winners, while Max Cohen and Gavin Sullivan earned ties. Salem’s Nate Clark won his match (6-3) and Cam Twomey and Wes Schaejbe tied in their matches.

Endicott 3, St. Joseph’s Maine 0: Abdulla Al-khalifa scored a pair of goals to help Endicott improve to 7-6 on the season. Austin Peluso stopped both shots he saw to earn the shutout.
Nichols 4, Salem State 2: Costa Hatziiannou and Kevin Gallo each had goals but Salem State (1-9) couldn’t come all the way back after falling behind 3-0. Salem native Max Mondestin earned one assist and Viking keeper Nondas Kargakis made eight saves.
Salve Regina 3, Endicott 1: The Gulls (12-10) overall won the opening set but fell 25-22, 22-25, 19-25, 19-25 against CCC-leading Salve. Jackie Cone had 18 kills to lead Endicott and Tori McIntyre added 14.

Keene State 2, Salem State 0: The Owls scored twice in the first half and hunkered down on defense, holding the Vikings to no shots on goal in the road win. Goaltender Carolyn Woodin made 11 saves for Salem State (5-5).
