Endicott 3, University of New England 1: Emily Sawchuck scored twice for the Gulls (7-3), while Hannah Thornberg added a final goal with seconds to play.

UMass Dartmouth 3, Salem State 1: The Vikings and

Courtney Lynch sparked a late rally with second half goal, but couldn’t stop the Corsairs. Michaela Boyer had seven saves as SSU drops to 7-2 as UMass Dartmouth put and end to the Vikings five-game winning streak.

Nichols College 5, Gordon 0: Freshman

Abigail Lutz recorded 14 saves in the loss for the Scots (2-9) while sophomore Karli Balmer had seven shots on goal.


Endicott 3, Salve Regina 2: Mackenzie Guerre went off for 18 kills on 41 attempts with only two errors as the Gulls (9-6) got the win in five sets. Freshman Jackie Cone came off the bench to record 17 kills while Callie Dolan tallied 11 of her own.

Salem State splits: In a tri-match, the Vikings swept the University of Southern Maine 3-0 in the opening game, but dropped their second match to St. Joseph’s 1-3. Against the Huskies, junior outside hitter

Jazmin Santos and senior libero Angelica Gonzalez tallied 12 .


Salem State 9, Western Conn. 0: The Vikings move to 4-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play after sweeping visiting Western Conn. Michelle McEwen/Maddy Ward (8-0) and April McDermott/Tara Garvey (8-2) each earned convincing wins at first and third doubles respectively.

Salve Regina 7, Gordon 2: Senior Sarah Hickey had a winning day for the Scots at No. 2 singles, to beat her opponent in three sets and won at No. 1 doubles along with partner Lily Drescher for the Scots (3-7)
