WOMEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER
Danvers native Kayla Corbett scored at 71:06 of the season opener for Endicott, tying the score with host Salem State 1-1. After two overtime periods, the contest remained deadlocked and both clubs begin the season 0-0-1.
Erin O'Brien got the lone goal for the Lady Vikings, while the Gulls' Victoria Hunt made the defensive play of the night by stopping an SSC bid late in regulation. Endicott goalie Natalie Wyrsch stopped 10 shots while Salem State's Leah Potcner made 11 saves.
Gordon 2, johnson state 1: Sophomore Karina Scavo collected a pair of goals within a span of 1:57 to lift the Fighting Scots to the win. Kelly Donlan and Kaelyn McBride made the key passes to set up Scavo.

RAMAPO 1, GORDON 0: Rob Santaniello scored the only goal of the game as Ramapo held off Gordon in the season opener. Alex Sosler had a strong game in net for Gordon, which had an 18-10 shooting advantage. Gordon hosts Framingham State tomorrow in Wenham (2:30 p.m.)

Endicott 3, Anna Maria 0: The Gulls rolled in their season opener, sweeping Anna Maria at home 25-6, 25-13, 25-12. Freshman Callie Dolan enjoyed a fabulous debut with nine kills while Falyn Torelli and Elyse Barbour each nailed down seven kills.
COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY
MORRISVILLE STATE 4, GORDON 3: Gordon nearly made it all the way back after trailing 4-0. Brianne Gilbert had a pair of goals for the Fighting Scots, and Melanie Landis had one. Anna Bury had 10 saves in goal for Gordon.
