It’ll be a great season if: “I can get the girls to grow into cohesive and confident team,” Romeo said. “We want to continue the success of the past few seasons. We’re a relatively inexperienced group, so getting better every day and getting more comfortable playing together is essential. We are working very hard, and how well we turn that hard work into positive results will dictate the level of success we have.”

SWIMMING

Last season: 4-4

Head coach: Ben Hanchett (5th year)

Team captains: Ashley Sorel, Sr. freestyle, IM, breaststroke; Matt Neidhardt, Sr. diving; Emily Dow, Jr. butterfly

Other key returnees: Alex Galarneau, Soph. sprints.

It’ll be a great season if: “We can harness the talent that is present on the team and remain mentally tough all season,” Hanchett said.

BOYS TRACK

Last season: 8-2

Head coach: Dana Picillo (7th year)

Team captains: Adam Murphy, Sr., Sprints; Alex Gikas, Sr., 600; Jake Moorman, Sr., Mile.

Other key returnees: Cam Hebert, Sr., 300/4x4 Relay; Austin Cashin, Jr., 300/4x4 Relay; Tristan Cluster, Jr., 300/4x4 Relay; Marco Caserta, Sr., Two-Mile; Justin Clark, Sr., 1000; Nolan Rice, Jr., High Jump/4x4 Relay; Simon Tardiff, Sr., Sprints.

It’ll be a great season if: “We can find a couple of hurdlers and shot putters,” Picillo said.
