This season will be successful if: Each player can play up to her potential.

BOYS TRACK

Last year’s record: 4-3

Head coach: Sean Rogers (2nd season)

Team captains: Kyle Sullivan, Sr., 110 Hurdles/Triple Jump; Matt Hogan, Sr., 400/800/Relay; Joe Manson, Sr., Throws.

Key returnees: John Thomas, Soph. Sprints/Long Jump/Relay; Chris Behen, Soph., Sprints; Long Jump; Relay; Drew Piazza, Sr., 800/Mile; Ryan Levesque, Sr., 110 Hurdles/Triple Jump/Long Jump; Connor Rollins, Jr., Jumps/Relay; James Bailey, Jr., Distance; Christian Veatch, Jr., Discus/Javelin/100/Relay; Mike Gilmore, Sr., Shot Put.

Coach’s outlook: “We have a lot of returning people with some experience. There is strong leadership not only from the captains, but the entire senior class. Depth is a concern; we need some underclassmen to fill in roles. If we can consistently perform, we can keep meets competitive.”

GIRLS TRACK

Last year’s record: 3-4

Head coach: Sean Dunleavy (13th season)

Captains: Meghan Beskid, Sr., Throws; Ashley Brooks, Sr., Jumps; Lianna Hebert, Sr., Hurdles; Xanthi Pantazelos, Sr., Sprints/Jumps; Corrine Previte, Sr., Middle Distance.

Key returnees: Lexi Bean, Sr., Sprints; Angela Caldarone, Soph., Middle Distance/Jumps; Cat Dominick, Soph., Distance; Gracie Ingraham, Sr., Hurdles; Meghan Kellard, Sr., Throws.

Coach’s outlook: “We want to build off last year record-wise. We have some good veteran leaders and a lot of talented sophomores. There is a good quality person in every event for us, so we’ll see how many NEC champions and strong state-level performances we’ll have.”
