Erin M. Parry and Adam J. Hart

Erin Michelle Parry and Adam James Hart were united in marriage on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon at St. Joachim's Church, Holy Family Parish in Rockport, MA. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Deacon William Kane. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm, Peabody, MA.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Donna Parry of Rockport, MA. She is the granddaughter of Mary E Colby and the late S. Lawrence Colby Jr. of Gloucester, MA, and the late William and Martha (Buchanan) Parry, formerly of Rockport.

The groom is the son of Frank and Janice Hart of Beverly, MA. He is the grandson of Lucy Hart and the late Robert Hart of Providence, RI, and Mildred Dubinski of Florida and the late George Herzau.

Maid of honor was Lauren Parry, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Dr. Laura Cappelf Katie Fuller, and Dr. Emily Johnson. Best man was Matt Peyla. Groomsmen were John Lankau and Stephen Zolotas. The ring bearers were Isaac Widmer and Alexander Price of Maine, cousins of the bride. Ceremony readings were performed by Catherine Wood and Sarah Landry.

Erin was a graduate of Rockport High School and a 2006 graduate of Colby College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Mathematics. She is in her 6th year of a combined MD/PhD program at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. Having recently completed her PhD thesis on telomere genetics, Erin is currently in her third year of medical school and is expected to receive her MD in 2013.

Adam was a graduate of St. John's Preparatory School, Danvers, MA and a 2006 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a major in Political Science. Adam is a detective for the Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland and is currently pursuing a master's degree in computer forensics at The George Washington University in Washington, DC.

The bride wore a Mon Cheri wedding gown with crystal and pearl beading on tulle over satin. She carried a hand tied bouquet of white mini callas, roses, and freesia with white orchids. Balloons were raised at the end of the ceremony in honor of the couple's deceased loved ones. Kimberly is the daughter of Carol and Jerry Schrock of Hamilton and Eric is the son of Jean Argenbright of Saco, Maine and Brian LaCroix of Danvers. A reception followed the service at the Ipswich Country Club, with guests from eleven states attending.
