Brittney Noel George and 2nd Lt. Brian Kenneth Michaud, Jr., were married June 18, 2011 at Eastwood Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY in a small family ceremony. Reverend David Witty officiated the ceremony. The maid of honor was Kylie George, Bowling Green, KY, and the bridesmaids were Alissa Michaud, Beverly, MA, and Lori George, Knoxville, TN. The bestman was Owen Becker of Rowley, MA along with the groomsmen Chad Moffat of Rowley, MA, and Seth George of Knoxville, TN.
The Bride is the daughter of Greg and Susan George of Bowling Green, KY. The Groom is the son of Captain Gig Michaud of Rowley, MA, and Judy Michaud of Beverly, MA. He is the grandson of the late Commander J. Alexander Michaud and Dorothy Michaud of Marblehead, MA, and Stanley and the late Priscilla Poirier of Salem, MA
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Elementary Education. She is a teacher in Ft. Hood, TX. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Beverly High School, MA, and graduated from Western New England College in 2010 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Upon graduation, Brian was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the Army and stationed at Fort Knox, KY where he completed his Armor (Tank) Commander Training and Advanced Reconnaissance Training.
Following a honeymoon to San Padre Island, TX, the couple was stationed at Fort Hood, TX with the 1st Cavalry unit. Lt. Michaud is expected to return home from his deployment to Iraq later this year.
