Amy K. Soteropoulos and Mark A. Vera

Mr. & Mrs. George Soteropoulos of Peabody, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Amy K. Soteropoulos, to Mark A. Vera, son of Len and Dolly Vera of West Yarmouth.

Amy is a graduate of Assumption College with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master's degree from Salem State University in Special Education. Amy works as a Special Education teacher in Sudbury.

Mark also graduated from Assumption College, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Marketing. He is self-employed as a Manufacturers Representative with Cape Sales Solutions of West Yarmouth.

The couple was married on July 9, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody by Msgr. Francis O'Sullivan. The reception was held at the Cruiseport, Gloucester. The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. The newlyweds reside in Marlborough.

The bride wore a Mon Cheri wedding gown with crystal and pearl beading on tulle over satin. She carried a hand tied bouquet of white mini callas, roses, and freesia with white orchids. Balloons were raised at the end of the ceremony in honor of the couple's deceased loved ones. Kimberly is the daughter of Carol and Jerry Schrock of Hamilton and Eric is the son of Jean Argenbright of Saco, Maine and Brian LaCroix of Danvers. A reception followed the service at the Ipswich Country Club, with guests from eleven states attending.
