Ashley M. Gwizdala and Kevin R. Chenery

Kevin Richard Chenery of Andover, MA and Arlington, VA and Ashley Marie Gwizdala of Bay City, MI and Arlington, VA were married at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Arlington, VA on Saturday, October 22, 2011 in a double ring ceremony performed by Father Michael Seneco, pastor of St. Hedwigs Old Catholic Church.

Kevin is the son of Brian Chenery and Patricia Arsenault of Naples, FL and Rose and James Stone of Bolton, MA. Kevin is the grandson of Rose Romano and the late Laurence Romano of Andover, MA and the late Frank and Joan Chenery of Peabody, MA. Ashley is the daughter of David and Robin Gwizdala of Bay City, MI.

Courtney Gwizdala of Bay City, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. April Marie Goss of Bay City served as maid of honor. Other bridal attendants were Tricia Baran, Janet Shipman, Maureen O'Connor, and Tara Rial. Erika Stone served as hostess. "Little Guy" Chenery served as the ring bearer. Ryan Bayha of Washington, DC served as best man. Other groomsmen were Brian Yoon, Randy Romano, Sean Wilson, David Gwizdala, and Ryan Gwizdala. Brian Gwizdala and Sergei Stone served as ushers.

Kevin graduated from Andover High School in 1997 and received his BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland in 2001. Kevin is an analyst for the Department of Defense. Ashley graduated from All-Saints High School in Bay City in 2003 and received a degree in Dental Hygiene from Delta College in 2008. She is a dental hygienist in Washington, D.C.

After an extended honeymoon in Hawaii, Kevin and Ashley will reside in Arlington, VA.

The bride wore a Mon Cheri wedding gown with crystal and pearl beading on tulle over satin. She carried a hand tied bouquet of white mini callas, roses, and freesia with white orchids. Balloons were raised at the end of the ceremony in honor of the couple's deceased loved ones. Kimberly is the daughter of Carol and Jerry Schrock of Hamilton and Eric is the son of Jean Argenbright of Saco, Maine and Brian LaCroix of Danvers. A reception followed the service at the Ipswich Country Club, with guests from eleven states attending.
