If you picked all of the favorites this past weekend in pro football, you did not win an 'I Beat Burt' T-shirt.
Eight of the 12 favorites won, and I had eight correct selections. Ties don't cut it.
So despite going 8-4, usually a decent week, it was really a so-so week.
But if you picked an upset or two, and you correctly had the Patriots point total (31), you won. All of this week's winners had the first tiebreaker, and nine or more correct selections.
How about this fact? Only four home teams won last weekend. Get used to it: it's the new, unpredictable NFL.
FYI: Week 10 is going to take some ingenuity as there will be only two games with a spread of under three points. That means an upset or two will be vital for all potential T-shirt winners.
