SALEM — Mayor Kim Driscoll cruised to an easy victory Tuesday night, according to unofficial results.

Results tabulated by her campaign had Driscoll defeating challenger and former Salem city councilor Paul Prevey, 65 to 35 percent.

It was the first serious challenger she faced for the mayor's office since she was elected in 2005.
